Product Description

A built-in electric leakage breaker (ELB) is a safety feature found in some instant electric water heaters. It is designed to protect users from electric shocks and prevent electrical damage caused by leakage currents.

The ELB constantly monitors the electrical circuit of the water heater for any abnormal leakage currents(10mA, 15mA). If it detects a leakage current that exceeds a certain threshold, it quickly cuts off the power supply to the water heater, effectively shutting it down and preventing any potential harm.

The purpose of the ELB is to provide an additional layer of protection against electric shocks and potential electrical hazards. It is especially important in wet environments like bathrooms where water and electricity can come into contact.
